Ha sido pianista de las orquestas de Lucho Berm\u00fadez, Camag\u00fcey, Internacional Los Caribes y la Kongas, entre otras; director musical del I y del II Festival Universitario de Jazz de Bogot\u00e1; productor y director del taller de m\u00fasica \u00abHazlo con arte\u00bb del Instituto Distrital de Cultura (IDCT) y Turismo, y jurado del Concurso Internacional del Joropo de Villavicencio en su versi\u00f3n del a\u00f1o 2007. Organiz\u00f3 y coordin\u00f3 los proyectos literarios \u00abUn pa\u00eds que sue\u00f1a\u00bb, de la Subgerencia Cultural del Banco de la Rep\u00fablica en 1984, y \u00abPoes\u00eda al parque\u00bb, del IDCT en 1996. En 2002 publica su producci\u00f3n musical El poeta canta dos veces con la colaboraci\u00f3n del cantante cubano Chiqui Tamayo y de los m\u00e1s prestigiosos poetas colombianos: Mar\u00eda Mercedes Carranza, Dar\u00edo Jaramillo Agudelo y Juan Manuel Roca, entre otros.
